Welcome to the website of Farmdene Health Centre. We are a four doctor GP practice based in East Farmdene . We provide all core NHS-funded medical services as well as a range of enhanced services and private medical services.
We offer a range of routine and emergency face to face and telephone appointments to suit your needs.
Farmdene Health Centre is open Mon - Fri from 8.30am - 6.00pm. We close at weekends and on bank holidays.
Patient Services allows you to order prescriptions, book appointments and update your personal records online.
Repeat prescriptions take a minimum of three working days, so please order in good time before you run out of medicine.
We offer all core NHS general medical services & a number of enhanced medical services such as joint injections & contraceptive implants.

Test & Scan results take at least 4 days to reach the practice . Please call the practice between 2pm and 4pm only for your results.
Many of you will know that Dr Hilary Evans retired as a GP partner in September and Dr Jane Ward has also just retired in November after nearly 30 years with the Health Centre. Fortunately neither doctor is planning to hang up their stethoscopes completely and they will both continue to work occasionally as locums in the practice and also continue their teaching of medical students. The remaining GPs are all managing larger lists. However we are very pleased to announce that Dr Carlos Ezquerra, whom some of who may remember as a previous partner, has returned to the practice.
All GP Practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice. The average pay for GPs working at Farmdene Health Centre in the last financial year was £67,179 before Tax and National Insurance . This is for 3 full time and 3 part time time GPs and 1 locum GP who worked in the practice for more than six months.
